Assistant Professor
Pronob Das was born in Chandpur, Bangladesh. He has received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Rajshahi-6204, Bangladesh in 2017. Mr. Pronob has received "Student of the Year Award" from the Mechanical dept., RUET in 2016 for his outstanding academic performance. From 16 February, 2019 to 26 July, 2022 he was a Lecturer in the department of ME at RUET, Bangladesh. He is now working as an assistant professor in the Department of ME, RUET since 27th July, 2022. He has some remarkable publications on his research areas.
Currently, Pronob is perusing his MASc degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Victoria, Canada. His research area focuses on the modelling of gas network, optimization techniques, hybrid energy system sizing, energy and exergy analysis.
Pronob enjoys cycling, fishing, travelling, and outdoor activities like cricket, football (Soccer) etc.
